**Verdict:** Generous signing limits for $75 once, but the API isn't included, Plan 1 can't take payments, and the move to a rebuilt app has loose ends.

BunnyDoc covers the e-signature basics: templates, bulk sending, public signing links, AATL certificates and an audit trail. The $75 plan gives one user 500 signature requests a month, far more than its paid plans. The catches: no API on any deal plan, payments only from Plan 2, slow support, and open questions about moving deal accounts to the new app.

## Pros

- 500 signature requests a month for one user on the $75 plan, versus 75 on the $18/month Personal plan
- Public signing links and forms, which buyers single out as the best feature
- AATL-certified digital certificates, two-factor login and a full audit trail
- Bulk sending, signing order, reminders, expiry dates and in-person signing on every deal plan
- Pulls files from Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive
- Choice of data centre in Germany, the US or Australia

## Cons

- No API on any AppSumo plan; the API costs from $39 a month extra
- Plan 1 has no invoices, quotes or payment collection, even though the listing headline promotes payments
- Several 2026 reviews describe support going unanswered for a week or more
- BunnyDoc moved to a rebuilt app, and recent buyer questions about deal accounts not showing there are unanswered
- No custom sending domain, and the BunnyDoc footer can't be removed (only reduced)
- Partner-managed listing that AppSumo hasn't vetted, so no "We Got Your Back" guarantee

## Choose it if

- You send a steady stream of contracts, consent forms or agreements as one person
- You want public signing links you can drop on a website
- You'd rather pay once than keep a monthly e-signature plan

## Skip it if

- You need an e-signature API for your own app
- You want to collect payments but only plan to buy Plan 1
- You need dependable, fast support for client-facing signing

### Why I looked at BunnyDoc

E-signature tools are one of those subscriptions that quietly add up. If you only send a few contracts a month, paying monthly for DocuSign feels like a lot, and the cheap plans often cap you at a handful of documents. BunnyDoc's [AppSumo deal](https://appsumo.8odi.net/R0q7Pv) offers a one-time alternative from $75, with far higher limits than its own monthly plans.

I went through the listing plan by plan, the 70 buyer reviews, the latest questions, and BunnyDoc's pricing, API pricing and compliance pages. Here's what I found, including a few things the listing headline glosses over.

### What BunnyDoc actually is

BunnyDoc is web-based e-signature software. You upload a PDF or Word file (or pull it from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive), drag signature and text fields onto it, choose the signers and their order, and send it. Signers don't need an account. You can track who has opened and signed, send reminders, set an expiry date, and keep a court-admissible audit trail with every document.

BunnyDoc says its signatures comply with the US ESIGN Act and UETA and the EU's eIDAS rules. Higher plans add invoice and quote blocks so a client can sign and pay in one step through your Stripe account.

It's worth knowing that BunnyDoc has recently rebuilt its whole app. The new version lives at esign.bunnydoc.com, and the founder's replies to reviews describe it as rebuilt from the ground up. Many older reviews and videos describe the old app.

### The features that stood out to me

#### High signing limits for one person

Plan 1 gives a single user 500 signature requests a month. For comparison, BunnyDoc's own Personal plan is $18 a month for 75 requests, and Business is $35 per user a month for 150. If you're a freelancer or a small office sending lots of agreements, that headroom is the main reason to buy.

#### Public signing links and forms

You can turn a template into a public link or form, put it on your website or in an email, and let anyone sign it. Buyers repeatedly call this the standout feature, especially for consent and waiver forms. The limits are tight, though: one public template and one form (500 submissions) on Plan 1, five on Plan 2 and ten on Plan 3.

#### Signing tools you'd expect from bigger names

Every plan includes bulk sending from an imported signer list, signing order, in-person signing, reminders, folders, reusable templates and advanced fields. Signed PDFs carry a digital certificate from an AATL provider, which helps Adobe Reader show the document as untampered, and accounts can use two-factor login.

#### Data centre choice

When you sign up, you can store your data in Germany, the US or Australia. That's useful for European businesses, though one buyer found there's no Canadian option.

### Where BunnyDoc falls short

- **No API on any deal plan.** The listing marks the API as excluded on all three plans. BunnyDoc's API starts at $39 a month for 50 API signature requests. One buyer felt this wasn't made clear enough.
- **Plan 1 can't take payments.** The headline promotes payment collection, but invoice and quote blocks, payment history and payments are excluded from Plan 1. Plan 2 allows up to $5,000 a month and Plan 3 up to $15,000.
- **Support has a poor track record.** Two one-taco reviews from April 2026 describe support emails going unanswered for over a week. The founder later replied that the team had been focused on building the new app.
- **The move to the new app isn't finished.** In late October 2026, two buyers asked whether legacy and AppSumo accounts would be moved to the new system, and one said their envelopes and deal didn't show up there. Neither had an answer when I checked.
- **Branding and sending.** You can't send from your own email domain, and one reviewer notes the BunnyDoc footer can be reduced but not removed on the lifetime plan. Some buyers also reported broken special characters in non-English documents.
- **Not vetted by AppSumo.** The listing is managed by BunnyDoc itself, so AppSumo's extended "We Got Your Back" guarantee doesn't apply. You still get the standard 60 days to ask for a refund.

### BunnyDoc pricing: lifetime deal vs. monthly

Bought directly, BunnyDoc has a free plan with 5 signature requests a month. Paid plans are Personal at $18 a month ($14.42 billed yearly), Business at $35 per user a month ($28 yearly) and Enterprise at $50 per user a month ($40 yearly). The API is priced separately from $39 a month. All prices are in USD, checked on 1 November 2026.

On AppSumo, Plan 1 is **$75 once**, Plan 2 $150 and Plan 3 $225, and you can stack up to three codes. The $420 list price for Plan 1 is a year of the Business plan at the monthly rate.

Against the Personal plan, Plan 1 pays for itself in a little over four months, and it gives you more than six times the monthly signature requests. Against Business, it pays for itself in just over two months. That's a strong deal on paper, as long as the AppSumo plans carry over cleanly to the new app. You have 60 days to redeem the code and 60 days to ask for a refund, so test the new app early within that window.

### What other buyers are saying

BunnyDoc has 70 reviews averaging 4.2 tacos: 50 five-taco reviews and 8 one-taco reviews. Happy buyers praise the public form links, the easy field editor, quick email delivery and the AATL certificates. One French-speaking buyer appreciated the translated interface.

The unhappy ones focus on support silence, interface glitches, character encoding problems in some languages and the missing API. A recent five-taco review lists smaller requests, such as editing a signer's email after sending and leaving the audit trail out of the final PDF.

I also looked for YouTube reviews. The ones I found either read the listing aloud or used an AI-written script with made-up statistics, so I haven't used them.

### My verdict

If you're one person sending lots of contracts or consent forms, BunnyDoc's Plan 1 gives you more signing volume for $75 once than most monthly plans do. Choose Plan 2 or 3 if you want clients to sign and pay in one go, and look elsewhere if you need an API or fast support. Because of the unanswered migration questions, I'd redeem straight away and test the new app within the 60-day refund window. If that sounds right, [get BunnyDoc on AppSumo](https://appsumo.8odi.net/R0q7Pv).

## FAQs

### Is BunnyDoc legally binding?

BunnyDoc says its e-signatures comply with the US ESIGN Act, UETA and the EU's eIDAS rules, and each signed document includes an audit trail and an AATL digital certificate. Check the rules for your document type and country.

### How much does BunnyDoc cost?

Directly, BunnyDoc has a free plan (5 requests a month) and paid plans from $18 a month. On AppSumo, lifetime plans cost $75, $150 or $225 once (prices checked 1 November 2026).

### Does the BunnyDoc AppSumo deal include the API?

No. The listing marks the API as excluded on all three plans. BunnyDoc's API is sold separately from $39 a month.

### Can I collect payments with BunnyDoc?

Yes, from Plan 2. It lets clients pay through your Stripe account up to $5,000 a month, and Plan 3 raises that to $15,000. Plan 1 has no payment collection.

### Can I get a refund?

AppSumo offers a 60-day refund. The listing is managed by BunnyDoc and not vetted by AppSumo, so the extended "We Got Your Back" guarantee doesn't apply.

## Alternatives

- DocuSign: choose it instead if you need the most widely recognised e-signature brand, deep integrations and formal compliance options
- Dropbox Sign: choose it instead if you need a mature e-signature API to build signing into your own product
- BreezeDoc: choose it instead if you want a simple e-signature tool from AppSumo's own Sumo family
