How TapDeals labels sponsored content, and what vendors can and can’t pay for.

TapDeals doesn’t currently run display ads or publish sponsored reviews. If we ever accept sponsorship, these rules apply.
How sponsored content is labelled
- Sponsored reviews, placements and deal listings carry a visible “Sponsored” label on the page and on review cards.
- The label appears before you read the content, not only at the end.
What sponsorship can buy
- Clearly labelled visibility, such as a featured position or a sponsored deal slot.
What sponsorship can never buy
- A positive verdict, a higher score or a place in a “best” list.
- Removal or softening of drawbacks we found.
- Approval of a review before it’s published. Vendors may correct factual errors, nothing more.
Free access and gifts
If a vendor gives us free access to a product for testing, the review says so. It doesn’t change the verdict.
