TapDeals may earn a commission from some links. Here’s how affiliate links work and why they never change our verdicts.
Last updated
TapDeals may earn a commission when you buy through some links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This is one of the ways we keep TapDeals free to read.
Which links are affiliate links
- Buttons such as “Get [product] on AppSumo”, “Get the deal” and “Visit [product]” on reviews and deal cards.
- Some in-text links to a product or deal inside a review.
Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" for search engines, and every review page shows a commission notice before its first deal button. Links to alternatives we haven’t partnered with are ordinary links.
Who we partner with
We currently participate in affiliate programmes for software marketplaces such as AppSumo, whose referrals are tracked by an affiliate network. We may join individual software vendors’ programmes in future. A commission is paid only if you buy, and the price you pay is the same.
What affiliate relationships don’t change
- Commission rates don’t affect verdicts, scores, rankings or which drawbacks we report.
- We review products we can’t earn from, and we recommend non-affiliate alternatives when they’re a better fit.
- If a deal tier is no cheaper than buying direct, we say so — even when that costs us a commission.
