Verdict: A refreshingly honest email verifier with an excellent lifetime price — just know it's a five-month-old company with no published accuracy data.

Our verdict
CleanMyList checks every address before you send and tells you, in plain English, why it's deliverable, risky or bad. The $79 AppSumo deal covers 20,000 verifications every month for life — a year of the monthly plan pays for it six times over. The catches: the allowance doesn't roll over, enrichment costs extra, and the company is brand new.
Best for: Marketers and small agencies cleaning lists every month before sending
Pros
- 20,000 verifications every month for a one-time $79 (the monthly plan is $43)
- Every result explains why an address is deliverable, risky or undeliverable
- Catch-all domains get a score instead of a guess, and the free pre-scan doesn't bill duplicates
- Pushes cleaned lists back to Mailchimp, Brevo, Klaviyo and other email tools
- REST API and MCP server for real-time checks at signup
- EU data centres, a DPA on request and automatic deletion after 30 days
Cons
- The monthly allowance resets — unused verifications don't roll over
- Enrichment, "rescue" and anything over your allowance run on separately bought credits
- No published accuracy benchmarks yet, only one buyer's own comparison
- Founded in May 2026, with just two AppSumo reviews so far
- AppSumo Radar listing: not vetted by AppSumo and not covered by its extended guarantee
- Integration lists differ between the listing, the FAQ and the website
Choose it if…
- You send email campaigns every month and want bounces down before you hit send
- You'd rather pay once than keep a verification subscription running
- You want to see why an address was flagged, not just a red or green label
Skip it if…
- You clean one big list a year — pay-as-you-go credits will be cheaper
- You need an established vendor with years of published accuracy data
- Enrichment is your main need, since it isn't covered by the lifetime allowance

I read CleanMyList's AppSumo listing, founder posts, buyer reviews and Q&A, plus the pricing, developer, GDPR and security pages on its own site. I searched YouTube for reviews and found none — the only "Clean My List" video is a feature of a different product. I haven't run my own lists through it yet.
Read our full review methodologyWhy I looked at CleanMyList
Bounces are the quiet killer of email marketing: send to enough dead addresses and inbox providers start treating everything you send as suspect. Verifying a list before every campaign fixes that, but most verifiers charge per check, so the habit gets expensive. CleanMyList's AppSumo deal flips that into a fixed monthly allowance you pay for once.
I went through the listing, the founder's updates, the buyer reviews and questions, and CleanMyList's own pricing, developer, GDPR and security pages. Here's what I found.
What CleanMyList actually is
CleanMyList is an email verifier. You upload a CSV, paste addresses, pull a list from your email tool or call the API, and every address comes back as deliverable, risky, undeliverable or unknown — each with a plain-English reason and a confidence score. It checks syntax, domain records and whether the receiving server will accept the address, and it stops before any email is actually sent.
On top of that sit two paid extras: enrichment, which fills in missing contact details from a 15-provider waterfall, and rescue, which tries to find a working replacement for a bad address. Those aren't part of the lifetime allowance — more on that below.
The features that stood out to me
It's honest about uncertainty
This is the part I liked most. Plenty of verifiers mark "catch-all" domains (servers that accept every address) as valid or invalid and hope for the best. CleanMyList labels them as catch-all and gives them a score instead, and it flags disposable inboxes and role addresses like info@ or sales@ rather than quietly passing them. You can export just the deliverable addresses, or deliverable plus risky, depending on how cautious you want to be.
You don't pay for obvious junk
Before a run, a free pre-scan counts duplicates and malformed addresses and shows you a quote. Those rows aren't billed, which matters when you're working against a monthly allowance. It also suggests fixes for common typos like "gmial.com".
It plugs into your email tool
CleanMyList pulls lists from and pushes cleaned results back to tools like Mailchimp, Brevo, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite, GetResponse, Moosend, SendFox and beehiiv, with MailPoet supported through a WordPress plugin. One buyer asked for a NuReply integration and had it within a day.
Built for developers too
There's a REST API for real-time checks at signup, bulk checks of up to 100 addresses, and background jobs for big lists, plus an MCP server so AI agents can verify addresses directly. The vendor quotes roughly a minute per 10,000 addresses and about six minutes per 100,000.
Where CleanMyList falls short
- Use it or lose it. The monthly allowance resets each month and unused verifications don't carry over. If you clean one big list a year, the lifetime deal is less of a bargain.
- Enrichment and overage cost extra. Enrichment, rescue and anything beyond your allowance run on credits you buy separately (they never expire, at least).
- No published accuracy numbers. The only comparison I found is one buyer who reported 10–27% better bounce results than two other tools in their own tests. That's encouraging, but it's one person's data.
- Very new. The company was founded in May 2026 and launched on AppSumo in July. It's from the same small London team behind the Sonny helpdesk. A placeholder team page briefly went live by mistake, which the founder explained and removed — fine, but a sign of how early it is.
- AppSumo Radar. Radar listings aren't vetted by AppSumo and don't get its extended "We Got Your Back" protection. You still have the standard 60-day refund window.
- Inconsistent integration lists. The listing, its FAQ and the website name slightly different sets of integrations, and one (Acumbamail) was still waiting on API access in September. Check your specific tool before buying.
CleanMyList pricing: lifetime deal vs. monthly
Bought directly, CleanMyList's Verify Starter plan is $43 a month (or $430 a year) for 20,000 verifications a month. Pay-as-you-go credits start at $6 for 1,000 and drop to $0.0018 each on the biggest bundles; new accounts get 50 free credits.
On AppSumo, the same 20,000-a-month allowance is $79 once — the $516 "list price" is simply a year of the monthly plan. That means the deal pays for itself in under two months. The $199 tier gives you 60,000 a month (normally $77/month) and the $399 tier 120,000 a month (normally $119/month), and you can move between tiers. You have 60 days to activate and 60 days to request a refund.
What other buyers are saying
There are only two AppSumo reviews so far, both five stars. One long-time buyer who runs two other list cleaners side by side said CleanMyList came out 10–27% better on bounces and is now their main cleaner. The other praised support after a missing integration was built and fixed within a day. It's a small sample, and I couldn't find any independent video reviews yet.
My verdict
If you verify lists every month, CleanMyList is an easy deal to like: transparent verdicts, sensible catch-all handling, real integrations and an allowance that would cost $43 a month for a one-time $79. The risks are the newness of the company and the lack of hard accuracy data, both softened by the 60-day refund window. Get CleanMyList on AppSumo and run your next list through it before the window closes.

CleanMyList FAQs
Is CleanMyList a one-time payment on AppSumo?
Yes. The AppSumo tiers are $79, $199 or $399 once, for 20,000, 60,000 or 120,000 verifications every month for life. Bought directly, the equivalent monthly plans are $43, $77 and $119.
Do unused verifications roll over?
No. The monthly allowance resets each month. Credits you buy separately for enrichment or extra verifications never expire.
Does the AppSumo deal include enrichment?
Enrichment is available on every tier, but it runs on separately purchased pay-as-you-go credits rather than the lifetime verification allowance.
Is CleanMyList GDPR compliant?
CleanMyList says it acts as a data processor, stores data in EU data centres, offers a data processing agreement on request and deletes uploaded lists and results after 30 days.
Can I get a refund?
AppSumo offers a 60-day refund window. Because CleanMyList is a Radar listing, it isn't covered by AppSumo's extended "We Got Your Back" guarantee.
