Proxy-Cheap Review 2026: Cheap Residential and ISP Proxies, With Caveats
Verdict: Some of the lowest per-GB and per-IP prices I found, across every proxy type, but strict refunds and mixed user reports mean you should start small.

Our verdict
Proxy-Cheap sells rotating residential traffic from $0.78/GB, static residential (ISP) IPs from $2.44 a month, plus datacenter and mobile proxies, all from one dashboard. The prices are genuinely low. The trade-offs are a refund policy that only helps if you've barely used your plan, no uptime guarantee, and a 2.7 Trustpilot score with complaints about IP quality and support.
Best for: Budget scraping, SEO and multi-account work where you can test before scaling up

- Paid trials from $1.99 for a week, so you can test a real IP cheaply
- Wide payment choice, including PayPal, crypto, iDEAL and Przelewy24, with no VAT added
- Extras like browser extensions, an API and a white-label reseller programme
Cons
- Refunds only if you've used 20% or less of your traffic, or within 3 days on time-based plans

I went through Proxy-Cheap's pricing and product pages (including the plan data published in their page code), refund policy, SLA and terms, read its Trustpilot profile, and compared prices with six competitors. I watched Khris Steven's March 2025 dashboard walkthrough and a June 2026 pricing tour by Sanjay Creators, and skipped three videos with no narration or no product detail. I haven't bought or run Proxy-Cheap proxies myself.
Read our full review methodologyWhy I looked at Proxy-Cheap
If you scrape prices, track search rankings, verify ads or run several social accounts, proxies quickly become a real line on your monthly bill. The big networks charge $3 to $8 per GB for residential traffic at small volumes. Proxy-Cheap's whole pitch is in its name: the same proxy types for noticeably less, starting with rotating residential traffic from $0.78/GB.
Cheap proxies have a reputation, though, and not always a good one. So I went through the pricing, the refund policy, the SLA and the terms, read what users report, and compared it with six better-known providers. Here's what I found.
What Proxy-Cheap actually is
Proxy-Cheap is a self-serve proxy provider. You top up a balance or pay per order, pick a proxy type, country and plan, and get an IP, port, username and password to use in your browser, scraper or anti-detect tool. Its copyright notice dates back to 2018, its terms are governed by Delaware law, and its Trustpilot contact address is in Lithuania.
It sells seven products: static residential (ISP) proxies on IPv4 and IPv6, rotating residential, datacenter IPv4 and IPv6, and static and rotating mobile. All of them support HTTP and SOCKS5, and you can mix types under one account.
What it isn't: a scraping platform. There's no web unblocker, SERP API or dataset product like the ones Oxylabs, Bright Data and Decodo sell. You get the proxies and do the rest yourself.
The features that stood out to me
Static residential (ISP) proxies for long sessions
This is the product most people seem to buy, and it's where Proxy-Cheap is strongest on price. A static residential IP is assigned by a real ISP but hosted in a datacenter, so it keeps the same address for as long as you renew while looking like a home connection. That suits logging into the same accounts every day, SEO tools and anything that breaks when your IP changes.
There are three plans. Basic is a shared IP (up to 3 users) with 1 GB a month. Dedicated gives you the IP alone with unlimited traffic at 100 Mbit/s and up to 100 threads. Premium is the same, but the IP has never been used as a proxy before. You choose the country and, in many places, the ISP. Static residential IPs are offered in 66 countries.
Rotating residential, priced per GB
For scraping at scale you want a fresh IP on every request, or a sticky one for a few minutes. Proxy-Cheap's rotating pool claims 50M+ residential IPs with user and password authentication, sticky or rotating sessions and 100 threads by default. You buy traffic from 3 GB, and the price falls from $1.50/GB to $1.20 at 4 GB and $0.78 at 51 GB.
Datacenter and IPv6 for raw speed
If your target sites don't block datacenter ranges, datacenter IPv4 from $1.49 a month and IPv6 from $0.15 are hard to beat on cost. IPv6 static residential (from $0.52) is a newer option for high-volume jobs on sites that accept IPv6.
Mobile proxies
Rotating mobile proxies route through real 3G, 4G and 5G carrier connections in 100+ countries for $5.99/GB, with no volume discount. Mobile IPs are the hardest for platforms to block, which is why they're popular for social media work. Static mobile IPs are sold per proxy, but the price on the site is confusing, so I'd check it at checkout (more on that below).
The dashboard and extras
In Khris Steven's dashboard walkthrough, ordering takes a few clicks, and a marketplace lets you hand-pick static IPs by country before you buy. There are Chrome and Firefox extensions, API documentation, a white-label reseller programme for WHMCS and a 25% referral scheme.
Where Proxy-Cheap falls short
- Refunds are narrow. You get a full refund on traffic plans only if you've used 20% or less, and only on your first purchase. Time-based plans have a 3-day window, and auto-renewals 24 hours. Crypto payments come back only if you close your account, and a full refund can get your account terminated. Several Trustpilot reviewers say they were refused or given account credit instead.
- No uptime guarantee. The SLA promises support response times (0–3 hours for urgent issues during business hours, up to 2 working days for minor ones) but no uptime percentage or service credits. Weekend live chat is one agent.
- Mixed reports on IP quality. The most common complaints are IPs that are slow, already blocked on big platforms, in the wrong location, or flagged as datacenter by IP-checking sites. Plenty of reviewers are happy, but 24% of the 750 Trustpilot reviews are one star.
- Targeting is basic. Static residential gives you country and ISP. There's no ZIP or ASN targeting on residential like the bigger networks offer, so it's a poor fit for hyper-local SEO or ad checks.
- Numbers don't line up. The site claims 155M+ IPs and 195+ countries on the homepage, 180+ locations on another page and 66 countries for static residential. The static mobile card says $3.50 a proxy while the text on the same page says from $15.21, and in June 2026 a reviewer was shown $42.21 a month. Plan names also differ (Dedicated on the cards, Standard in the page data).
- The ratings on its own site are self-published. The 4.5 and 4.9 star ratings in Proxy-Cheap's page code don't match Trustpilot's 2.7, so I'd give them little weight.
Proxy-Cheap pricing: what you'll actually pay
All prices are in US dollars, with no VAT added. Most payment methods add a fee at checkout. Paying from your Proxy-Cheap balance doesn't. I checked these on 27 October 2026:
- Rotating residential: $1.50/GB from 3 GB (so a $4.50 minimum order), $1.20/GB from 4 GB, and $0.78/GB from 51 GB, which works out at about $40 for 51 GB.
- Static residential (ISP): Basic $1.99 for a 7-day trial, then $2.71 a month. Dedicated $2.87 a month, $2.73 on 3 months or $2.44 on 12 months. Premium $7.99 a month, falling to $5.83 on 12 months.
- Datacenter: IPv4 from $1.42 to $1.49 a month depending on plan, with a $1.13 trial week. IPv6 from $0.15 a month.
- Mobile: rotating at $5.99/GB at every volume. For static mobile, check the price at checkout.
The site shows strike-through "70% off" prices next to these, but they're Proxy-Cheap's own list prices, so I'd compare against competitors instead. Rotating residential at $0.78/GB is less than half of what Decodo, IPRoyal or Oxylabs charge at a similar volume, and the 3 GB entry point is cheap enough to test with. Prices change often: in June 2026, Dedicated was $2.49 and Premium $7.49 a month. So check the checkout before you commit to a 12-month plan.
What other buyers are saying
Proxy-Cheap has 750 Trustpilot reviews averaging 2.7 out of 5. The scores are polarised: 64% five stars and 24% one star. Happy customers mention reliable ISP proxies, a good choice of countries, fair prices and support that sorted their issue. Unhappy ones describe IPs that didn't work on their target platform, location mismatches, refunds turned down and accounts suspended without a clear reason. The company replies to about half of the negative reviews.
On YouTube, Khris Steven's March 2025 review shows the live dashboard and the ordering flow. He uses only static residential IPs, for SEO and marketing work, and called it the cheapest provider he'd tried. Sanjay Creators' June 2026 tour is mostly a read-through of the pricing pages, but it's useful for showing how often prices move. I couldn't find an independent speed or success-rate benchmark from 2026.
My verdict
Proxy-Cheap is the right kind of cheap if you treat it like any budget provider: buy the smallest plan, test it on the exact sites you care about, and scale up only once it works. The static residential (ISP) IPs at around $2.50 a month and rotating residential at under $1/GB are excellent value when they work for your use case.
If a failed proxy would cost you more than the plan itself, or you need an uptime guarantee, ZIP targeting or a refund you can rely on, pay more for Decodo, Oxylabs or Bright Data. Everyone else should start with a 3 GB rotating plan or a $1.99 trial IP.

Proxy-Cheap FAQs
Is Proxy-Cheap legit?
Yes. It's a real proxy provider, with a copyright notice dating back to 2018 and a public refund policy, SLA and terms. Reviews are mixed, though: Trustpilot shows 2.7 out of 5 from 750 reviews, with complaints about IP quality and refunds. Start with a small plan.
How much do Proxy-Cheap residential proxies cost?
Rotating residential traffic costs $1.50/GB from 3 GB, $1.20/GB from 4 GB and $0.78/GB from 51 GB. Static residential (ISP) IPs start at $2.71 a month for a shared Basic IP, $2.87 for Dedicated, or $2.44 a month on a 12-month plan. Prices are in USD, with no VAT added, and were checked on 27 October 2026.
Does Proxy-Cheap have a free trial?
Not a free one. Static residential and datacenter IPv4 proxies have paid 7-day trials from $1.99 and $1.13. Rotating residential is pay-as-you-go from 3 GB, which is about $4.50.
Can I get a refund from Proxy-Cheap?
Only in limited cases. Traffic plans are refundable if you've used 20% or less of the traffic, and only on your first purchase. Time-based plans have a 3-day window, and auto-renewals have 24 hours. Test your proxy as soon as you buy it.
What's the difference between Dedicated and Premium static residential proxies?
Both give you an ISP IP for yourself with unlimited traffic. Premium IPs have never been used as proxies on the platform before, so they're less likely to be flagged. Dedicated IPs may have been used by one previous customer. Premium costs roughly two to three times as much.
