Verdict: A cheap way to let Claude or your own agent post to 11 networks, but the 2,000 posts per code are a one-time pool, not a monthly allowance.

SocialClaw gives AI agents a proper publishing backend: connect accounts once, then schedule, publish and check posts through MCP, a CLI or a REST API. The $39 AppSumo code is good value for light posting, but its 2,000 posts are a lifetime pool shared across accounts, AI and video features cost extra, and the vendor is less than a year old.
Best for: Developers and solo marketers who want an AI agent to schedule and publish social posts
I went through SocialClaw's AppSumo listing, FAQ, buyer review and Q&A, plus its pricing, changelog, integrations, docs and terms pages, and compared it with Buffer, Postiz and Ayrshare. I looked for YouTube reviews, but the only SocialClaw videos are short clips from the vendor's own channel; the many "SocialClaw AI" reviews cover an unrelated product. I haven't connected SocialClaw to my own accounts yet, so there's no score.
Read our full review methodologyMore people are handing routine work to AI agents like Claude, Codex and OpenClaw, and social posting is an obvious candidate. The catch is that most schedulers are built for humans clicking around a calendar. SocialClaw flips that: it's a scheduler built for agents first, and the AppSumo deal starts at $39 once.
I went through the AppSumo listing, the FAQ and buyer questions, and SocialClaw's own pricing, changelog, integrations, docs and terms. Here's what I found, including the limits that are easy to miss.
SocialClaw is a hosted publishing workspace. You connect your social accounts once, and then a dashboard, a REST API, a command-line tool and an MCP server all work from the same accounts, media library and queue. Tell Claude to schedule a week of posts, and it can do that, check whether they went out and retry the ones that failed.
It is not an AI content writer. The founder says plainly on AppSumo that the deal covers scheduling only. Your agent writes the posts; SocialClaw makes sure they reach the right accounts in the right format.
One naming warning: searching for it turns up lots of videos about "SocialClaw AI", a different product sold on JVZoo. SocialClaw says it isn't affiliated with it, and the only official site is getsocialclaw.com.
The MCP server works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, either hosted or run locally with one npx command. There's also an OpenAPI 3.1 contract, an npm CLI, an OpenClaw skill and a Slack app. The one AppSumo reviewer connected an agent through MCP and had it create, publish and check a post end to end.
Each network has its own rules, such as X's character limit, Instagram carousels of up to ten items or TikTok's photo formats. SocialClaw checks a scheduled post against those rules first, so your agent gets an error it can fix instead of a silent failure. After publishing, it reconciles each post with what actually went live and retries failures.

Choose it instead if you want an established scheduler with a free plan and unlimited posts on paid plans from $5 per channel a month
Open-source social media scheduler with an MCP server, CLI and API
Choose it instead if you want unlimited posts, MCP and an open-source option, and don't mind paying from $29 a month
Lifetime. Each AppSumo code includes 2,000 posts in total, of which 200 can go to X. Every platform you post to counts as one post, and going over the limit needs a paid plan from $15 a month.
Directly, plans run from $15 to $99 a month after a 7-day free trial. On AppSumo, each lifetime code is $39 once, and you can stack up to 4 codes per workspace (prices checked 1 November 2026).
Not as part of the deal. SocialClaw is a scheduler that your own AI agent controls. It includes a few demo AI credits, but AI generation and UGC videos are paid separately.
You can publish to X, LinkedIn profiles and pages, Instagram (business or standalone), Facebook Pages, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Discord, Telegram and WordPress. Discord works through a webhook and Telegram through a bot, rather than a normal account login.
Each brand gets its own workspace, and a client can connect their own accounts through a link, so you never handle their passwords. That makes it workable for small agencies, within the account limits below.
Bought directly, SocialClaw starts at $15 a month for 3 accounts and 200 posts a month, after a 7-day free trial. Startup is $29 (6 accounts, 400 posts), Plus $67 (20 accounts, 1,000 posts) and Pro $99 (50 accounts, 2,500 posts). The site says yearly billing saves 20%, but doesn't show the yearly prices. Direct subscriptions aren't refundable unless the law requires it. All prices are in USD, checked on 1 November 2026.
On AppSumo, each code is $39 once for 3 accounts and 2,000 posts in total. You can stack up to 4 codes in one workspace: $156 gets you 12 accounts, 8,000 posts and 800 X posts. The $540 list price is simply three years of the Starter plan.
The fairer comparison is posts, not months. $39 equals about 2.6 months of Starter, and the 2,000-post pool equals 10 months of Starter's full allowance. If you post lightly, the deal can last for years; if you'd use all 200 posts every month, it runs out in under a year. You have 60 days to redeem the code and 60 days to ask AppSumo for a refund.
There's only one AppSumo review so far, a five-star review from an experienced buyer who connected an agent through MCP and had it publish and verify a real post. They argue you should judge SocialClaw as tooling for agents rather than compare account counts with Buffer or Hootsuite. One review isn't much to go on, and it doesn't mention drawbacks.
The questions section is more telling. Several buyers asked whether the post limit is monthly, and one said the answer was the only thing stopping them from buying. That question was still unanswered when I checked, although the FAQ and the founder both describe it as a lifetime limit.
If you already run an AI agent and want it to handle social posting for a few accounts, SocialClaw is a well-designed backend and $39 is a low-risk way to try it, with 60 days to change your mind. Just count your posts first: heavy daily posting across many networks will empty a code quickly, and AI content generation isn't included. If that fits, grab SocialClaw on AppSumo while the lifetime deal is live.

Social media posting API for developers and SaaS platforms
Choose it instead if you're building social posting into your own SaaS and need a mature API with unlimited posts

No. SocialClaw AI is a different product sold on JVZoo. SocialClaw says it isn't affiliated with it, and its only official site is getsocialclaw.com.
AppSumo offers a 60-day refund on this deal. It's a Radar listing, so it isn't covered by AppSumo's extended guarantee, and subscriptions bought directly from SocialClaw are non-refundable unless the law requires it.
